Conveyor Pulleys

Drive, take-up, bend and tail pulleys for belt conveyors. Selected by shell diameter, face width, shaft diameter, allowable torque and belt tension; lagged with rubber, ceramic or diamond grooving.

Key parameters

Model-level pulley data is collected from selected manufacturers; below are selection parameters and replacement logic.

Applications
  • Mining and mineral processing
  • Ports and transfer
  • Cement and building materials
  • Power (fuel handling)
  • Overland conveyors
Selection guide
  1. 01Determine belt tension T1+T2 (radial load).
  2. 02Ensure T1+T2 is below the series' max allowable radial load.
  3. 03Refine diameter, power, torque and speed for the duty.
  4. 04Match mounting dimensions to the existing conveyor.
  5. 05Confirm operating conditions: IP, temperature, abrasion, Ex-protection.
A TM-Service engineer confirms the suitable execution from your data.
Construction
  • Shell (crowned/cylindrical) with end discs and hubs
  • Shaft sized to torque and tension
  • Locking assemblies
  • Static/dynamic balancing
  • Standard welding, NDT, corrosion protection
Variants & options
  • Type: drive / take-up / bend / tail
  • Lagging: rubber, ceramic, diamond groove
  • Crowned/cylindrical shell
  • Balancing grade by speed
  • Special coatings for heavy duty

FAQ
Which lagging is needed?

Rubber — general; ceramic — high friction/wear (wet/abrasive); diamond groove — water shedding and traction. Chosen by power, environment and tension.
