Drum Motors
A drum motor is a sealed belt-conveyor drive with the motor, gearbox and bearings enclosed inside the rotating shell. Compactness, dust/water protection (up to IP69k) and low maintenance make it the standard for unit handling, food and logistics.

- Food industry (hygienic executions)
- Packaging and unit handling
- Airports and baggage systems
- Production lines

Original → required parameters → mounting dimensions → conditions → technically suitable replacement. We don't claim full identity — an engineer confirms the suitable execution.
When choose a drum motor over an external drive?
When you need a compact sealed drive with high hygiene, lower maintenance and dust/water protection. External geared drives suit very high torque and frequent motor access.
How is belt tension accounted for?
Radial load equals the sum of tensions T1+T2 and must stay below the series max allowable radial load. Thick, heavy and wide belts raise tension.
Can you find an analog for a discontinued European drum?
Yes. Send the brand, model, parameters and mounting dimensions (or a nameplate photo) — we propose a technically suitable execution for your conveyor.
